You cannot allow the past to define your future. Hebrews 13:5 - When you hold on to Jesus as a controller of the present, Jesus is there to redeem your past. Deut 31:6 - Be strong and of good courage.
God says trust Me, take me at My word. There is something God demands that we develop: an overcomer’s mind. You are named after Christ and the battle is won. Romans 8 - The overcomer’s mindset says I can’t be stopped by defeat, betrayal, mistakes because in the midst of the greatest darkness there is always light. The sound you make determines the light around you. In the midst of your greatest challenge, don’t be silent. Put God’s word in your mouth, yes it looks like defeat to the world but Jesus went to the cross and arose! God has a plan for your life, it cannot be stopped as long as you don’t stop it. Ruth made a covenant to follow Naomi - and she served faithfully.
Are you ready to go forward despite the circumstances, despite the inconvenience, are you determined enough to keep pressing forward? Ruth was determined for change and she found her redeemer. Tell the future, “I'm coming to enjoy you”.
